Overview
The Echelon® LNS® Network Operating System for LonWorks® is used by most LonWorks network management tools and monitoring software. One exception is Tridium NiagaraAX®, which does not use LNS.
The early LNS 3.00 release cannot handle the LonWorks / LonMark® external interface file (XIF) version 4.40 or later, which is the XIF file version provided with all current production WattNode® meters.

- It may also be possible to use self-discovery (the WattNode meters provide internal self-documentation) to discover the device interface.
