DESCRIPTION

Split-Core Current Transformer Standard and Revenue Grade Accuracy

Oval Window Opening 1.25 x 1.77 in. is ideal for two parallel conductors. Available in three rated current ranges 150 A, 250 A, 300 A, 400 A, and 600 A The 0.333 Vac output is very linear with the industry’s lowest phase angle error. All CTs Are Not the Same!

The patented Accu-CT split-core current transformer technology delivers exceptional linearity and low-end accuracy. Developed specifically for solar inverter, variable-speed motor drive, and other applications where there are large variations in current. The 100:1 turn down ratio of Accu-CTs is ten times better than industry standard CTs. The unique one-handed opening and closing mechanism makes installation a snap.

ACTL series CTs are available in both standard and revenue-grade accuracy models. A serialized calibration certificate can be requested for C0.6 and better accuracy revenue-grade models.

The oval opening can handle a single 750 kcmil (MCM) conductor or two 350 kcmil (MCM) conductors.

  • Safe: burden resistor built-in, standard 0.333 Vac output at rated full scale current—no shorting blocks needed!
  • Glove-friendly: easy to open and install with one hand while wearing safety gloves
  • IEEE C57.13 and IEC 60044-1 accuracy: over full temperature range and down to below 1% of rated current
  • Exceptionally low phase angle error: essential for accurate power and energy measurements
  • UL 2808 Listed meets 2017 NEC code requirement for field installed CTs
  • Approvals: CE mark, RoHS

WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Antimony Trioxide, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to: www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

  • ACTL-1250 models with Opt C0.2 for use on 50 Hz electrical systems should be ordered with option 50 Hz for best accuracy. See Specifications below for details.
  • Opt 60 Hz Calibrate the CT for best accuracy at 60 Hz. This is the default calibration, but the option is included to make it clear that Opt C0.2 CTs must be calibrated specifically for 50 or 60 Hz. We recommend all customers order with Opt 60Hz or Opt 50Hz.
  • Opt 50 Hz Calibrate the CT for best accuracy at 50 Hz instead of the standard 60 Hz. Without this option, the phase angle errors at 50 Hz may exceed the published limits.
